Higgovale

Undoubtedly the most exclusive of the city bowl districts, the prestigious Higgovale boasts beautiful views of the city and Table bay area.  It’s situated right below Table Mountain National Park, but still within 10 minutes of the CBD.  So if you want the convenience of being close to the centre but prefer waking up to birdsong rather than the song of drunken vagrants then Higgovale is the place for you - providing your pocket can accommodate it that is.

Meander down any of the many winding roads through a  labyrinth of lush vegetation and architectural masterpieces and you will eventually end up in Gardens, a fashionable post code popular with the young and hip who like to see and be seen at one of Kloof Street’s many street cafes.

With the mountain literally on your doorstep, the beautiful beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay less than 10 minutes away and the city centre within easy reach, the secluded haven of Higgovale offers absolute convenience with effortless style.

As beautiful  and exclusive as this neighborhood is, there unfortunately is no real bar or restaurant scene to speak of.  But fear not - as extensive as the confusing roads might lead you to believe this area is, it’s not actually that big and the cafes of Kloof Street in Gardens are just around the corner.
